Teatime with… double Jane!
Sense and Sensibility
Friday 22nd June 2018 at 9 p.m
You’ve read the book and seen the film, now come to Teatime with Jane and eat the cake!!
On Friday 22nd June 2018 at 9 p.m., Bookbank will host Teatime with Jane (this time 2 Janes – Upchurch and Austen!) with Sense and Sensibility! A light-hearted novel about girls of limited means trying to find the right man to marry! What trials and tribulations will the Dashwood sisters have to overcome before they get their man? And will it be the man they want or are there suprises in store for the sisters?
More importantly for some regular teatimers – what cake (or cakes) will Jane be making for the occasion? Book your place and find out!
For the Venerdì Piacentini, the Bookbank bookshop will be moving to the English countryside for one evening!
Immersed in a real English atmosphere with tea and cakes, cups and saucers and a good book, we will spend a pleasant evening reading and chatting in English… with the two Janes (Austen and Upchurch!!).
The table will be prepared in the street, with old-fashioned English china, where you can taste traditional English tea and cakes…
